Mako Aptitude and Round Two

Mako's two online stages back to back. First the 15-minute aptitude test, 37 items at 24 seconds each, where the questions are easy and the clock is the whole difficulty. Then round two, 28 multiple-choice items in 30 minutes, where the pace relaxes and the questions expect real work.

Format

• 2 sections · 65 items · about 45 minutes
• No negative marking - answer everything.
• No going back. Answer or skip, and the next item loads.
• Every sitting is generated fresh - a retake is a new paper.

Sections

• Aptitude test - 37 items, 15 minutes, no negative marking. 37 items in 15 minutes. Arithmetic, percentages, sequences, quick probability and short reasoning puzzles, mixed. Twenty-four seconds an item.
• Round two - 28 items, 30 minutes, no negative marking. 28 multiple-choice items in 30 minutes. Probability, statistics, reasoning and mental maths, at about a minute each. These want the work done.
