Citadel-Style Dual Online Assessment
Modelled on the two screens Citadel candidates report: a general cognitive test of 50 logic, arithmetic and comprehension items at fourteen seconds each, then a 15-item probability OA covering combinatorics, Bayes, Markov chains and hypothesis testing.
Format
- Two sections, ~42 minutes total. The cognitive screen allows ~14 seconds per item - speed IS the test.
- Section 1: 50 items in 12 minutes - mixed arithmetic, logic and short verbal comprehension.
- Section 2: 15 probability items in 30 minutes - the trader-track OA. Deeper, slower, still timed.
- No negative marking on either section, matching candidate reports.
- No going back. Answer or skip, and the next item loads.
Sections
- Cognitive screen - 50 items, 12 minutes, no negative marking. 50 items in 12 minutes: arithmetic, logic, letter series, odd-one-out, and two-sentence comprehension. Fourteen seconds a question.
- Probability OA - 15 items, 30 minutes, no negative marking. 15 items in 30 minutes: extended Bayes, Markov chains, combinatorics, EV, a stopping game, and one hypothesis-testing question.
