Belvedere Technical Challenge

Belvedere's Stage 2 on the trading track: 14 probability and logic questions against a 25-minute clock, sent out with a multi-day window to start it in, then a short coding section. Fourteen questions is the whole test, so a single careless one costs more here than anywhere else in the catalog.

Format

• 2 sections · 16 items · about 55 minutes
• No negative marking - answer everything.
• No going back. Answer or skip, and the next item loads.
• Every sitting is generated fresh - a retake is a new paper.

Sections

• Probability and logic - 14 items, 25 minutes, no negative marking. 14 items in 25 minutes. Dice and card probability, combinatorics, expected value, optional stopping, and short deduction puzzles.
• Coding challenge - 2 items, 30 minutes, no negative marking. Two problems in 30 minutes. Implement each function and run it against the hidden tests.
